1. Introduction

Welcome to the Split Cafe FREE DAY ON SPLIT Competition! By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.

2. Eligibility

This competition is open to all residents of, Australia, aged 14 years or older.

3. Competition Period

The competition begins at 01/07/2024 and ends at 31/07/2024.

4. How to Enter

  1. Share an image of your experience at Split Cafe on Facebook or Instagram.

  2. The image must be posted either in your stories or as a post.

  3. Include the hashtags #splitcafe and #sawtellcoffee in your post or story.

  4. Ensure your profile is set to public so that your entry is visible to the judges.

5. Entry Requirements

  1. Entries must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe the rights of any third party.

  2. Participants may submit multiple entries, but each entry must be unique.

  3. Entries that are deemed inappropriate or offensive by Split Cafe will be disqualified.

6. Judging and Selection of Winner

  1. Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme.

  2. The judging panel will consist of members from the Split Cafe team.

  3. The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  4. The winner will be announced via Split Cafe's Facebook and Instagram pages.

7. Prize

  1. The winner will receive a FREE DAY ON SPLIT, to the discretion of the owners, limited to one individual, during business hours.

  2. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.

  3. Split Cafe reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the original prize is unavailable for any reason.

8. Notification of Winner

  1. The winner will be notified via direct message on the platform they used to enter the competition within 7 days of the announcement.

  2. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, Split Cafe reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

9. Use of Entries

  1. By entering the competition, participants grant Split Cafe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display their entry in any media for any purpose, including but not limited to promotional and marketing purposes.

  2. Participants consent to Split Cafe using their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

  1. Split Cafe is not responsible for any technical issues, lost, delayed, or misdirected entries, or any other event outside their reasonable control.

  2. By participating, participants agree to release and hold harmless Split Cafe, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, and their respective affiliates, from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the competition or any prize won.

11. Privacy

  1. Personal information provided by participants will be used by Split Cafe solely for the purpose of administering the competition.

  2. Participants have the right to access, update, or delete any personal information held by Split Cafe by contacting Split staff directly.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
